Early access to Discovery Drops. Insiders get early access to Discovery Drops before the public, giving you first entry and a better experience.

Insider Hour Access. Before many Discovery Drops, Insiders gather for a special Insider Hour where they get early access to the venue and additional time to connect with participating businesses.

Insider-only Events. From time to time, we host exclusive experiences just for Local Insiders.

Referral & Engagement Rewards. Businesses reward Insiders for helping them grow through referral payouts and other incentives.

Your Questions, Answered

  • We operate on a move-at-your-own-pace model. There are no requirements for how active you must be. However, we ask that you attend as many Insider Hours as possible, which take place during Discovery Drops…and gives you early entry to the Drop :-)

  • Rewards vary, but most are monetary. Earn a commission for referring a friend to a service, get tips for engaging on social media to help amplify events held by local businesses, or get complimentary upgrades as a Discovery Society member. We’ve even held contests for giveaways like free show tickets, Durham Bulls tickets, or complimentary dinner at a local restuarant.

  • We’ll share with you the catalog of participating businesses and what rewards come with each.

  • We use WhatsApp to stay connected, answer questions, make referrals, and have some fun!

  • Cashapp or Venmo.

  • It’s a wide range, so it’s hard say because it depends on how active you are and what you services you refer. However, most active Insiders earn anywhere from $25-$400 per month.
